Vascular Ultrasound Scanning
Vascular Ultrasound – what is it?
This diagnostic method is used to evaluate arteries or veins various parts of the body
A vascular ultrasound is a noninvasive ultrasound testing (also called a duplex study) used to examine the circulation in the blood vessels of the body.
Vascular ultrasound can be used to evaluate arteries or veins in nearly any part of the body, including blood vessels in the neck, abdomen, arms and legs. Non- invasive means the procedure does not require the use of needles or anesthesia.
At Agape Medical Center we perform the following vascular ultrasound tests:
Vascular ultrasound scanning of abdominal aorta branches |
Vascular ultrasound scanning of main arteries of the head |
Vascular ultrasound scanning of iliac arteries and abdominal aortas |
Vascular ultrasound scanning of arteries and upper limb veins |
Vascular ultrasound scanning of lower limb arteries |
Vascular ultrasound scanning of lower limb veins |
